Worthing Hospital - ICC Worthing, West Sussex
Worthing Hospital is being developed to become a modern Integrated Comprehensive Care (ICC) facility. SWH have fulfilled the Principal Designer Advisor role from pre-construction into construction, as well as providing CDM Client Advisor Service.
Worthing Medical Group and Worthing Borough Council are working collaboratively with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust (SPFT) and Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT) to develop a new healthcare facility, which will provide a state-of-the-art Integrated Care Centre.
The centre will provide GP, mental health, community and dentistry services, as well as further services for families and children, a homeless population service and a pharmacy. The scheme will also include a multi-storey car park.
The overarching benefit is a main site that meets future requirements, putting the needs of the community at the heart of the practice’s development plans, through services, access, and supportive community work.
SWH where first appointed as Principal Designer Advisor to the Architect during the pre-construction phase, a role which we are now undertaking on behalf of the Principal Contractor, during the construction period.
SWH are also providing CDM Client Advisor Services, including monthly site safety inspections and compliance reporting.
