Tate Modern London
Working on the iconic building of the Tate Modern was a privilege. SWH designed a bespoke masonry support system and complicated temporary works.
Scott White and Hookins were employed by a specialist brickwork trade contractor to design a bespoke masonry support system for 7 storeys of brickwork, which was suspended from the primary steelwork structure above.
Our client, Abbey Pynford, employed Scott White and Hookins to assist in the design and detailing of complicated temporary works to allow the formation of large openings for the main entrance to the Art Gallery.
