There are some major changes taking place with BREEAM!
As of 1st July 2011 the current version of BREEAM will change to “BREEAM New construction 2011”.
This new change affects only New Build projects. A dedicated refurbishment scheme comes out in 2012 (with refurb projects being able to continue to be reviewed against BREEAM 2008 in the meantime).
Projects registered before 30th June 2011 will be assessed under the old “BREEAM 2008” scheme and do not need to be assessed immediately- they can be certified at any point until 30th June 2016.
New build projects registered from 1st July 2011 will be subject to the new criteria laid out under BREEAM 2011.
Scott White and Hookins has a dedicated team of BREEAM assessors qualified to assess developments in all markets, with experience providing high quality advice and guidance to both public and private sector clients.
Our assessors aim to be an integral member of the project team, working together towards sustainability objectives that meet the project goals and cost restraints- as well as achieving the targeted BREEAM rating.
We are licensed assessors for the vast majority of the BREEAM family of schemes and all of our BREEAM projects benefit from the skills and knowledge of the direct involvement of a qualified BREEAM Accredited Professional.
