The three day challenge commenced on 24th September, and the lads had to endure three days of on-off rain. The challenge started from Namur in Belgium, cycling through the beautiful Ardennes forest area ending the day in Nancy, in North-East France.

The Extra Mile Challenge

The second day of cycling saw the intrepid cyclists pedal from Nancy through the rolling, wine-growing terrain of Alsace and across the German border to Offenburg.

The third and final day saw the lads enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Blackforest and sample the delights of Schwarzwälde Kirschtorte (Black Forest gâteau to you and me).

A total of 500 miles was cycled and the lads have agreed to participate in next year’s challenge.
