Extra Mile Challenge 2010
Scott White and Hookins are entering two teams of intrepid cyclists to take on the Black Forest Extramile challenge in Belgium, France and Germany.
Following the success of last year’s event when we raised in excess of £1500 for the selected charities, we thought we would attempt the challenge again.
It is a slightly different looking team from last year but all are just as committed. Enthusiastic cyclists from our three offices in London, Winchester and Bedford are making up the two teams of Sore Willing and Hopeful and the SWH Lance Brothers. They will be Ian Llewellyn, Jamie Thompson, Julian Marshall, Jason Daniels, Doug Alcock, David Langford, Geoff Watson and Sam Patrick.
This year’s escapade happens on the 24-26 September, and we are cycling between us over 500 miles in 3 days from Namur in Belgium, across to Nancy in France before a picturesque and probably hilly loop through the Black Forest round Offenburg. Details can be found at the link below.
Our chosen charities this year are:
- BOAZ Project - a local charity just outside Winchester which provides skills and training for disabled people
- Bedford Hospitals Charity
Even the smallest donation would be much appreciated.
We will provide an update when the lads have completed and recovered from the event.
