At Scott White and Hookins we use the latest computer technology to ensure that we are able to communicate quickly and easily with our clients, other consultants and contractors. To assist us to meet our objectives we utilise industry standard software where possible for our administrative and technical operations. To ensure that our computer system is robust we have a secure 'disaster recovery system' which provides diversity for all parts of our IT network.

Secure Firewalls connect the networks at each of our offices as well as enabling offsite connection into our networks. We have a policy of regularly reviewing and updating our hardware and software systems to ensure that we continually refine and improve the service we are able to offer to our clients using the latest available hardware:

• Communication
  We have videoconferencing system between our offices which enables us to communicate quickly and easily between all our staff.
  
  
• Integegration
  We utilise the latest 3D design technology such as Revit by Autodesk's, which provides a building information modelling (BIM) for the whole design team.
  
  
• CAD
  Our technical draughting software includes the latest versions of Autodesk's AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, Civil 3D, and Bentley's Microstation.
  
  
• Design & Analysis
  We use up to date technical design software such as TEDDS, FASTRAK Building Designer, FASTRAK Portal Frame, Orion, S-FRAME, SCALE, Microdrainage, AutoTrack and TRL traffic and transport programs amongst many others.
