We are a medium sized dynamic STRUCTURAL & CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY, and are seeking to recruit a OFFICE JUNIOR/ JUNIOR CAD TECHNICIAN at our WINCHESTER office.

We are looking for a motivated and well organised CAD Technician to work in our busy WINCHESTER office. We can offer you work on a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects covering many different construction sectors. Established in 1963 the practice employs over 70 staff in 3 UK offices and currently has a very full order book.

As a suitable candidate you should have good GCSE's, have good organisational skills, a high level of motivation and a willingness to learn.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • General office administrative duties;
  • Provide support to the technical staff;
  • Preparation of drawings using AutoCAD;

Our Requirements:

  • Good GCSE's, including Maths and English (Grade C or higher);
  • A willingness to learn;
  • Good communication skills and a high level of motivation;

Your Training and Development:
As Investors In People we take the training and Continued Professional Development of all staff very seriously. If required, you will be offered day release attendance of an ONC/HNC course in Civil/Structural Engineering at a local college. As you progress, under the supervision of a chartered engineer, the practice will encourage you to undertake further training under an ICE Approved training scheme or IStructE scheme to gain either Technician or Incorporated membership of the IStructE or ICE.
