Saving the airship shed. Carrying out structural inspections from the UK’s largest access platform is all in a day’s work for two of our Bedford-based engineers, Will Roomes and Lascelles Haughton.
The Cardington airship sheds dominate the north Bedfordshire skyline. For these enormous structures, Scott White and Hookins was asked to undertake a full structural and feasibility study for bringing the grade 2 listed shed back to a serviceable standard.
