Scott White & Hookins provide a range of professional consultancy services to the rail industry. We have a specialist team with in-depth experience of Network Rail and London Underground procedures and with three UK offices, our skills are such that we are able to provide design consultancy for major railway projects throughout the UK.

Our range of services includes civil and structural engineering, temporary works design, and project management. Via our strategic partners we are able to offer cost effective design solutions as required by our client needs including architectural services, mechanical & electrical engineering, geotechnical services and permanent way design.

Our unique strength is gained from a blend of specialist multi-disciplinary railway engineering skills allowing us to provide a truly integrated solution for our clients.

Over the past few years we have successfully developed a specialist team with in-depth experience of designing, detailing, checking, inspecting, assessing and certifying railway infrastructure for Network Rail, London Underground and Docklands Light Railway, including:

• Line side equipment bases, platforms and buildings
• Bridges and gantries
• Stations and platforms
• Depots
• Temporary works

On a number of London Underground and railway stations, bridges, track-side structures and depots, we have undertaken principal inspections and assessments. We provide comprehensive assessment reports giving full details of the work done and findings. All our work is carried out in accordance with LUL Standards and Network Rail standards.

We are members of Link Up for bridge design, bridge assessment, civil engineering and structural engineering. Our railway staff hold Network Rail PTS cards and London Underground entry cards.
