Founded in 1963, Scott White and Hookins is an 80-strong partnership providing civil & structural engineering, health and safety, approved inspector and geomatic engineering. 

We were one of the first companies to attain Approved Inspector status in the UK. Since then, we have developed a strong team of experts to meet clients' needs. Our knowledge of the Building Regulations is second to none and we pay close attention to detail, ensuring consistent interpretation of regulatory requirements. We also pride ourselves on speed of response. We report back quickly on submitted plans and deal with enquiries and requests for site inspection efficiently so the survey work can be carried out in good time. If asked to attend design or pre-application meetings, we are involved early enough in the design stages to add value by recommending alternative solutions that can deliver significant cost savings and maximise the value of the project.
